  Your Child Can Be Successful !

We were referred to ADDvantages after learning of Sarah's auditory processing issues.   After completing the remediation program we have seen much improvement in her word attack skills (decoding) and as a result, her reading has improved.  She no longer struggles when trying to sound out words.  Other areas of significant improvement include her ability to memorize, her concentration and staying focused.  She seems much more confident and is now trying new activities.  We are looking forward to starting school in the fall as we know school will be much easier for her.  We are very thankful for the programs at ADDvantages. I can't tell you how much your program has changed our lives.  Our daily routine has completely changed.  I feel like I am a better, more effective mother. No more nagging, no more anxiety, no more stress and no more pressure.  Hannah's morning consists of waking up, getting dressed, brushing her teeth, straightening up her room, making her bed, practicing violin, eating breakfast, and packing up her back pack.  She gets all of this completed without prompting and better yet, without complaining!  In addition to her stellar performance in the classroom, I am proud ( and relieved)   to report that there are NO homework issues anymore!  She no longer requires that I sit with her and re-teach her anything.  There are no more tears, no more drama, no more excuses and no more procrastination.  She is proud of herself and happy.  Lisa Roche, Haddonfield, NJ

I would highly recommend ADDvantages to anyone who wants to see their child improve their academic skills.  My son has improved in many areas because of the training his brain has received.  We tried tutors, learning centers, and computer programs.  However, ADDvantages has done in weeks what all the other programs combined failed to achieve.  The staff is very accommodating and friendly.  Anita, our son's trainer is a wonderful lady and really captures the attention of her students.  Because of the program my son is growing while enjoying school work.  He is more confident, independent, and assertive.  Thank you ADDvantages!  We really received what we paid for. As a result of the program I'm now able to ready faster and comprehend what I read.  I'm reading without having to re-read over and over again.  I've seen improvement in my memory, the details are easier to remember.  I'm also able to work out problems and pay attention to instructions. My child has shown specific improvements during the weeks at ADDvantages Learning Center.  It is easier to get him to do things which was a struggle in the past.  The greatest change is reflected in his overall "spirit".  He is "lighter" and I hear him laughing more.  I interpret this as a decrease in his frustration level and things in general are easier for him  He also has become more verbally expressive with me. After trying just about everything and being frustrated with my son's frustration, we found ADDvantages.  Immediately we noticed our son enthusiasm, just be a little success, that grew all the time.  His memory sharpened, desire to keep going increased,  logic and reasoning started to connect by realizing he wasn't dumb, but just needed some assistance in unlocking some things in his brain that was already there.  I just loved working the program and have recommended ADDvantages to many of my friends whose kids are struggling.  Struggling in school really lowers their self-esteem, but this has boosted my sons.  He has also taught me as a parent.  I wish we could have found ADDvantages earlier in his age.  He is doing great! Jessica biggest improvement was actually in math.  She dreaded homework and math class but now has much more confidence.  She has had much more success in math with her teacher reporting a willingness to keep at a difficult problems and working through them.  Her pace of work has doubled.  She now independently does her homework withing an hour!  Before it would take three hours and we'd cut back the work. Her teachers have all reported better completion of work in class.  I have recommended this program to other parents and I tell them that there is a parental commitment, but when the program is over, they'll be happy the invested the time. Before Katie began the program she was having difficulty completing assignments and staying focused and on task.  We began to see improvements in the 3rd week.  After the 4th week the teacher called us to let us know that she had made significant improvements.  Katie made the honor rill her last marking period in the 4th grade.  She also has better comprehension than ever before and has become more social as well. Luke really enjoyed the program thoroughly and truly "bought" into it!  Our stressful mornings are a thing of the past.  He is able to get up on time and spends less time rushing around.  One of the greatest improvements was in the amount of time homework should take.  Luke now completely gets started on his own with very little guidance and it now takes him an appropriate amount of time to complete it.  Thank you so much for giving him the tools to move forward! Nathan's confidence level has improved.  He reads more easily and gets less frustrated when doing homework.  I strongly recommend ADDvantages!  I have also seen improvement in his working memory.  He has gotten higher grades on tests no and if more confident in school. DJ used to take so long just to copy a simple list of words.  he is now doing that much more quickly.  Math problems are also being done faster.  Homework is taking less time.  He is voluntarily trying to read TV listings and ads on boxes. Daniel Foote, Merchantville, NJ

Josh was reluctant to go to ADDvantages, but we didn't give him a choice.  We were at the end of our rope and didn't know how we were ever going to get beyond the inconsistencies of his school work - missing homework that he did but it never got to the teacher, not knowing what the homework was or when it was due, poor test grades and a general unawareness of what was going on around him.  Since completing the program it's as if he finally "woke up".  he knows what he needs to do and takes the initiative to do it.  He's using his homework planner, for the first time he isn't missing any work and his  grades have improved drastically.  He doesn't need repeatedly need to be told to do something and does it the first time!  Josh seems more confident and is starting to shine! At home I saw a big change with the ease of doing homework.  I have already referred a few friends to  ADDvantages. I only wish the school would see the same.  I feel confident about the program and am continuing with another one.  Amazing trainer, great match for Yael .... very positive all the time!
